FOUNDER’S STORY

Visionary Behind Abiyam

Raised in a farming village in Tamil Nadu, Sri Ram Kuppuswamy grew up with the wisdom of traditional foods especially millets. Inspired by his grandmother’s nourishing meals and the Ayurvedic idea of Anubanam where food becomes a path to healing—he founded Abiyam to revive ancient grains for modern lives.

Blending his roots in agriculture and holistic wellness, Ram built Abiyam to make millets accessible, sustainable, and deeply nourishing—for families, farmers, and the planet.
